Chat with us →Yes — when matched correctly, quality extensions are genuinely undetectable. LTS extensions use a multi-tonal blending technique with a mix of lighter and darker strands within the same shade, just like real hair. This creates natural depth rather than a flat, one-dimensional look.
See before & afters →Absolutely — fine hair is one of the most common reasons people try extensions. Our Halo is particularly well-suited because weight distributes evenly along the wire with no clips pulling on individual strands. The 5-piece Invisible Clip-In is a lighter option if you prefer clips. Take the quiz and we'll match you to the right set.
Take the quiz →Yes — and it's one of the best use cases. Clip-in and halo extensions give you immediate length and volume while your natural hair grows underneath, completely undisturbed. Because LTS extensions remove daily with no permanent attachment, there's zero impact on your hair health underneath.
Completely. Extensions are transformative for weddings, events, and formals. LTS extensions go in at home in minutes — no salon appointment — which means you can do your hair yourself on the morning. We have a dedicated bridal guide with before and afters if that's your occasion.
Wedding hair guide →Most of our customers felt the same before their first set. Start with our Help Me Choose quiz — 60 seconds, and it matches you to the right type and shade. If you'd rather talk it through, our team is on live chat and happy to colour match from a photo before you commit to anything.
Take the quiz →Yes — for a lot of our customers, volume is the main goal. Wear LTS extensions at your own hair length and the result is dramatically more thickness and fullness with no added length. Our Invisible Clip-Ins are particularly good for this — you can position wefts exactly where you need them for targeted volume.
See transformations →Halo: One piece on a transparent wire. On in under 60 seconds, zero clips, zero damage. Best for those who want the fastest, simplest option.
Invisible Clip-Ins: Multiple wefts with ultra-flat silicone clips, layered through the hair. Takes 5–10 minutes but gives more placement control — better for ponytails, updos, and targeted volume.
Full comparison →The Halo is our top recommendation. A single wire distributes weight evenly — no point-load tension, no breakage risk. If you prefer clip-ins, go with the 5-piece over the 9-piece, and aim for a lighter weight set (100–120g) to keep the look natural.
Shop the Halo →The 9-piece Invisible Clip-In. Multiple wefts layered through the hair give you the coverage and density needed to blend with what's already there — a halo's single weft can look thin against very thick natural hair. Chat with us before ordering if you're unsure about placement.
Shop Clip-Ins →As a general guide:
- Fine or thin hair: 5-piece Clip-In or the Halo (lighter weight, around 100–120g)
- Medium density hair: 9-piece Clip-In or the Halo (standard weight, around 140–160g)
- Thick or coarse hair: 9-piece Clip-In (heavier weight, 160g+)
The quiz takes your hair type and goals into account and gives you a specific recommendation — it's the fastest way to get this right.
Take the quiz →Choose a length based on where you want the hair to sit, not just the number. A few rules of thumb:
- If you want volume at your current length, match the extension length to your natural hair length.
- If you want extra length, choose extensions at least 4 inches longer than your natural hair — any less and they can be hard to blend.
- For the most natural result, don't go more than 6–8 inches longer than your natural length in one step.
Our Hair Extensions 101 guide covers this in detail with visual references.
With Clip-Ins, yes — high ponytails, half-ups, and most updos are achievable. The key is clip placement: position your wefts slightly lower than you normally would, so the clips sit below the ponytail base and aren't visible. Our team can advise on placement for your specific style.
With the Halo, low ponytails and half-up styles work well. Very high or tight updos are trickier because the wire needs to stay covered — a low bun or braided style works perfectly though.
Yes — 100% Remy human hair means they can be straightened, curled, and blow dried. Always use a heat protectant first and keep tools below 180°C. Extensions don't receive natural scalp oils so they dry out faster with repeat heat — a regular conditioning treatment and argan oil through the ends will keep them in great shape.
Full care guide →With proper care, 6–12 months of regular wear. Because they're removed daily, they experience less friction and product buildup than permanent methods — which actually helps them last longer wear-for-wear. How you wash, store, and style them makes the biggest difference.
Care guide →Match to the mid-lengths and ends of your hair — not the roots. Extensions sit through the mid-section where blending happens. If you're between two shades, always go lighter — slightly too dark creates a visible contrast line, slightly too light blends naturally like a highlight. Our shade guide shows all 9 colours in natural light, and we offer a free colour match if you send us a photo.
Browse all shades →Always go lighter. A slightly lighter extension catches light and blends naturally — like highlights. Slightly too dark creates a shadow line that draws attention to the attachment points. If you're genuinely unsure, send us a photo in natural daylight and we'll give you a definitive answer. Free, takes 2 minutes.
Free colour match →Yes — send us 2–3 photos in natural daylight (outdoors or near a window, no flash) via live chat or email at [email protected]. We'll match you to the closest LTS shade, usually within a few hours. Free, no purchase needed.
Get colour matched →Yes — 100% Remy human hair means they can be professionally coloured or toned by your hairdresser. Professional application only — at-home box dye is unpredictable on extensions and can cause damage. Toning is lower risk and great for fine-tuning a shade. Do not bleach or lighten — lifting colour is very damaging and not recommended.
Some slight fading is normal over time, particularly with lighter processed shades — the same happens with your natural hair. Use a colour-safe, sulphate-free shampoo, limit heat, and protect from sun exposure. A toning treatment from your hairdresser can refresh the colour if needed.
Remy hair is human hair where all strands are kept aligned root to tip throughout collection and processing. This preserves the hair cuticle — the protective outer layer — keeping the hair smooth, silky, and tangle-free. It behaves like your own hair because it's processed correctly. Widely regarded as the highest quality human hair available for extensions.
Why we choose Remy →Remy: Cuticles intact, all running the same direction. Smooth, soft, natural movement. Washes and heat styles like real hair — because it is.
Non-Remy: Cuticles running in mixed directions, so they're chemically stripped and silicone-coated to create temporary softness. That coating wears off after a few washes, leaving hair that tangles, mats, and feels rough. Non-Remy is often cheaper upfront but needs replacing far sooner — it's rarely better value.
Read more →The collection and processing is more careful and time-intensive — keeping all strands aligned root to tip requires skilled handling at every stage. It can't be rushed. The result lasts significantly longer, feels better, and behaves more naturally. Cost-per-wear over 12 months versus replacing cheaper extensions every few months — Remy almost always wins.
Most extensions are single drawn — full at the weft but tapering toward the ends. They look thick in hand but thin out when worn. LTS uses a double drawn process that removes shorter strands, keeping the weft consistently thick from root to tip. That's the fullness you see all the way through the length.
Our quality standard →Every 15–20 wears, or when they feel heavy from product buildup. Extensions don't accumulate scalp oils so they need washing far less than your natural hair — over-washing is one of the most common causes of premature wear. Sulphate-free shampoo, lukewarm water, conditioner from mid-length to ends. Air dry where possible.
Full wash guide →The golden rules for extension-safe products:
- Shampoo: Sulphate-free. Sulphates strip natural oils and cause dryness and frizz in extensions faster than anything else.
- Conditioner: Alcohol-free. Apply from mid-length to ends only — never at the weft base or clips.
- Styling: Always use a heat protectant before any heat tool. A small amount of argan or hair oil through the ends keeps them hydrated and glossy.
- Dry shampoo: Fine to use, but avoid applying directly to the clips or weft base — build-up there can degrade the clip springs over time.
Brush thoroughly before storing. Close all clips to maintain spring tension. Tie wefts loosely at the base with a soft scrunchie — not a tight elastic. Store in a breathable bag or on a hanger, away from direct sunlight. The original LTS box works perfectly if you still have it.
Swimming: Remove them first. Chlorine and salt water dry out human hair and cause tangling. If they do get wet, rinse immediately with fresh water and condition as soon as possible.
Exercise: Light activity is fine. For heavy sweating — gym sessions, sport, saunas — remove them beforehand. Because LTS extensions clip in and out in minutes, it's easy to work around.
Remove them before bed. Pillow friction causes tangling, matting, and stresses the clips over time. Taking LTS extensions out takes under two minutes — brush, close the clips, hang them up. That one habit genuinely doubles the life of your set.
Yes — spray lightly through the lengths and ends to refresh between washes and add texture. Avoid the clips and weft base where buildup can gum up the mechanism. If you do get buildup on the clips, a soft toothbrush in warm water cleans them up easily.
