A simple guide to choosing your set

The biggest mistake people make is going too heavy for their hair type. More pieces doesn't always mean better — it means the right amount for your hair.

5-Piece
Fine or thin hair
If you can see your scalp easily or your hair is on the finer side, the 5-piece set gives you beautiful natural volume without overwhelming your hair or making clips visible.
9-Piece
Medium to thick hair
If your hair is average thickness or thicker, the 9-piece set gives you full coverage from root to tip. More pieces means a better, more seamless blend through thicker hair.
5-Piece
Subtle everyday look
If you want a natural "my hair but better" result — not a dramatic transformation — the 5-piece set is your go-to. Perfect for adding volume and a little length without it being obvious.
9-Piece
Full transformation
If you want maximum volume, serious length, and a head-turning result, go 9-piece. It's also the better choice if you're adding a lot of length — more pieces means better blending.

The questions we get every day

Straight answers to the things people genuinely want to know before they buy.

Both are clip-in extensions made from 100% Remy hair — the difference is in the weft base. The Invisible Clip-In uses an ultra-thin silicone weft that lays completely flat against your scalp. It's virtually undetectable even on fine hair and is lighter to wear. The Classic Clip-In uses a breathable lace weft — slightly thicker, which allows for more hair to be attached, making it better suited to thicker hair that needs serious volume and a secure hold. If you have fine or thin hair, go Invisible. If you have thick hair and want maximum volume, go Classic.

Yes — and it's actually our top recommendation for thinning hair. The Halo has no clips, no tension, and no attachment to your natural hair at all. The invisible wire simply rests on your head and your hair covers it. This means zero stress on your existing hair, which is exactly what thinning hair needs. Clip-in extensions, even gentle ones, create some tension at the attachment point when worn regularly. The Halo avoids this completely. It also goes on in under 60 seconds which means less handling of your natural hair every morning.

When worn and removed correctly, clip-in extensions cause minimal damage to natural hair. The key is not wearing them too close to the hairline or crown, not leaving them in overnight, and not clipping in the same spot every single day. If you have fine or thinning hair and are concerned about damage, the Halo is the safest option — it has zero contact with your natural hair.

The Invisible Clip-In is the next best option for fine hair — its silicone clips are designed to grip gently without pulling. Used properly and rotated in placement, damage should not be an issue with any of our methods.

With Clip-In extensions (both Invisible and Classic) — yes, absolutely. The multiple wefts distribute around your head which allows you to pull your hair up, into a ponytail, half-up styles, and most updos. Placement matters — if you clip closer to the nape and sides, updos are easier.

With the Halo — it's more limited. The wire sits at the crown, so high ponytails and tight updos can expose the wire. Half-up styles, loose ponytails, braids, and most down styles work beautifully. If you wear your hair up regularly, clip-ins give you more flexibility.

Halo: Under 60 seconds once you know what you're doing. Place the wire on your head, pull your natural hair over it, done. Most people nail it within the first couple of wears.

Invisible or Classic Clip-In: 5–10 minutes for a full set. You section your hair from the bottom up and clip each weft in place. It sounds involved but becomes very fast with practice — many of our customers say they can do a full set in under 5 minutes after the first week.

The simple rule: fine or thin hair → 5-piece. Medium to thick hair → 9-piece.

The 5-piece set is designed for natural volume — beautiful, "my hair but better" fullness. The 9-piece is for a full transformation — maximum volume and coverage that blends seamlessly through thicker hair. If you put a 9-piece set on very fine hair, the weight can feel uncomfortable and the wefts can be harder to hide. More isn't always more — it's about the right amount for your hair.

Yes — all LTS extensions are 100% human Remy hair, which means they can be curled, straightened, and styled with heat tools just like your natural hair. Always use a heat protectant first, and keep heat tools below 180°C (350°F). Because extensions don't receive the same natural moisture from your scalp as your own hair, excessive heat over time can cause them to dry out faster. The less heat the better — your extensions will last longer.

With proper care, LTS extensions typically last 12–18 months for regular wearers. The key factors that affect longevity: how often you wear them, how often you heat style them, how well you wash and store them, and whether you brush them gently before and after each wear.

The Halo generally lasts longer as it doesn't have clips that open and close daily. Clip-in sets experience more mechanical wear from the clips over time. Both last significantly longer when stored properly — in the box or a soft pouch, never bundled.

Wash clip-in extensions every 15–20 wears, or when you notice product build-up. Always detangle gently before washing. Use a sulphate-free shampoo, lather gently from top to ends, and rinse with lukewarm water. Apply a lightweight conditioner from mid-lengths to ends — avoid the weft base. Rinse thoroughly, gently squeeze out excess water, and lay flat to air dry. Never sleep in clip-in extensions and never put them away wet.

The Halo can be washed the same way — it's even easier as it's one piece. Store it flat or on a hanger to maintain the wire shape.

Generally, you need at least 10–15cm (4–6 inches) of natural hair for extensions to blend properly. Shorter than this and the wefts become difficult to hide. If your hair is in that range, the key is using fewer wefts focused on the lower and mid sections, choosing a gradual length rather than jumping dramatically, and adding waves or curls after application to help blend the transition.

The Invisible Clip-In is the best option for shorter hair as the flat weft is the easiest to conceal. Not sure if it will work for your length? Start a live chat with us and we can help you figure it out.

Yes — because LTS extensions are 100% human Remy hair, they can be professionally coloured by your hairdresser. You can safely go darker. Lightening is possible but requires bleach and should only be done by a professional as extensions are more porous than natural hair and absorb colour differently. We always recommend a professional for any colour work on your extensions to protect the hair and get the best result.
